DIEFFENBACHER presents composites solutions at three trade fairs in the USA and China

CAMX in Orlando, Florida, ACCE Conference in Novi, Michigan, and China Composites Expo in Shanghai to take place in September 2025

On September 3-5, DIEFFENBACHER will present its advanced composites solutions for the infrastructure and construction industry at the ACCE Conference in Novi, Michigan. From September 8-11, the German machine and plant manufacturer will appear at another trade fair in the U.S., at booth D79 at CAMX in Orlando, Florida. “Trade fair month” concludes with the China Composites Expo in Shanghai, September 16-18, where DIEFFENBACHER will highlight solutions for the automotive industry at booth 7L41.

At all three trade fairs, DIEFFENBACHER will present products and solutions integrated into its portfolio following the acquisition of the composites business of Schmidt & Heinzmann GmbH & Co. KG in November 2024. “Visitors to the trade fairs in the U.S. and China will find SMC solutions in the form of production lines for semi-finished materials, cutting systems, cutting and stacking units and wide roving cutters,” says Michael Ochs, Director Sales Schmidt & Heinzmann at DIEFFENBACHER.

“We’ll showcase applications for the construction and infrastructure sector from DIEFFENBACHER customer projects, including components for railroad and telecommunications infrastructure and door skins,” says Marco Hahn, Director Sales of the Forming Business Unit at DIEFFENBACHER. “Attendees will also learn about our custom solution that supports our U.S. customer Xerxes in the manufacture of underground stormwater tanks used as intermediate buffers during heavy rainfall,” Hahn continues.

DIEFFENBACHER offers the automotive industry material- and energy-efficient plant concepts for reducing energy and manufacturing costs. “With our decades of experience as a general contractor, we implement customized complete plants from development and engineering to commissioning and beyond,” explains Hahn. “We also advise our customers on the most economical manufacturing process and ensure the smooth operation and continuous availability of every DIEFFENBACHER and Schmidt & Heinzmann plant with customized modernization solutions and our 24/7 service. In this way, we ensure that ever shorter cycle times can be maintained without problems and reproduced.”

Another highlight is a new augmented reality (AR) application for projecting DIEFFENBACHER’S composites press systems, including the CompressEco and Fiberpress, into the real environment as a full-size 3D model using a smartphone or tablet. “The app provides an initial realistic impression of how a new press system could be integrated into a greenfield project or an existing plant structure,” says Hahn.

DIEFFENBACHER will also present its entire range of hydraulic presses. The company manufactures presses with press forces ranging from approximately 1,000 to over 50,000 kN. The standard press series includes the flexible CompressEco and the particularly energy-efficient and space-saving Fiberpress. Visitors will also learn about DIEFFENBACHER’s service capabilities and modernization and automation expertise.

“We look forward to meeting our Chinese and North American customers and partners and, above all, to making new acquaintances,” says Hahn. “We also want to deepen our knowledge of the challenges facing the respective markets so we can tailor our offerings even better to our customers in North America and China,” he adds.
