How we helped Teijin Automotive move forward
With limited space and a very tight schedule, the Dieffenbacher SMC Line was completed on time and on a turnkey basis. A quick-change system for SMC coils and festoons ensures a smooth production process with significantly reduced downtime, which is fully automated from this point onwards.
High precision requirements of the components are ensured through
- the Fibercut ’s active weight compensation of the SMC blanks as well as
- the active parallel leveling of the Fiberpress, which ensures an even pressure distribution and enables an homogeneous and reproducible component production with a high OEE at the same time
Despite the difficult space conditions and the parallel operation of another production line in the immediate surrounding area, the integration and commissioning of the system went smoothly. Thanks to the high quality and reliability of the system and the excellent cooperation with the Dieffenbacher team, we will certainly be working together again in the future.
