CompressECO for the production of Class A exterior components from SMC

Creative Composites calls itself “UK’s most advanced composites manufacturer.” In 2017, the company headquartered in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, selected Dieffenbachers CompressEco press series to produce SMC Class A exterior components. In 2020, another CompressEco of the same type, was added to the line.

That’s how we helped Creative Composites get ahead

The largest forming press for composites in the UK of type CompressEco will enable Creative Composites to produce large components in the future. The active high-speed parallel control increases part quality and enables the production of Class A surface parts for the world's leading car brands.

With its highly precise and active parallel control system and a press force of up to 30,000 kN, the CompressEco is exactly the right press for planned and future applications to meet the requirements of our customers. These include, for example, Class A body panels for the world's leading automotive brands. The process-optimized mechanical design of the press and the active high-speed parallelism control have enabled us to significantly increase both productivity and the size of the parts we can produce.
