That’s how we helped Thermowave get ahead
Modernizing Thermowave’s hydraulic press system included replacing the seals on the main and retraction cylinders and replacing the prefill valves. To replace the seals and prefill valves, the lifting axis – including the plunger, cylinder and prefill – was disassembled and reassembled. Dieffenbacher redesigned the prefill valves especially for Thermowave’s system, as the 500 bar valves installed were no longer available.
While the project presented unique challenges, Thermowave benefited from the two companies’ years of cooperation, time-saving comprehensive design documentation and Dieffenbacher’s single-source capabilities.
