Scope of services
In the composites business we also offer a review of the overall plant. After completion of each test, the press operator receives a record which can be submitted to the Institution for Statutory Accident Insurance and Prevention to provide evidence of the performed accident prevention inspection. The comprehensive safety inspection includes the following services:
Assessment of the workplace
Functional check of all emergency stop buttons acting on the machine and the plant
Functional check of the switch inhibitor
Functional check of the two-hand control panels, push buttons and foot switches and functional check of the light curtains
Functional check of the protection of the inner space of the plant (scanner)
Functional check of the safety doors, safety guards and gates that prevent access to the danger area of the plant
Check of the press control for compliance with applicable standards
Overrun test to determine the actually required safety margin
Error simulation on the control
Check of the mechanical and hydraulic system (see below for a detailed description of the scope)
