Compared to production on a multi-opening press, you can produce LVL boards with more consistent mechanical board properties and significantly lower thickness tolerances without subsequent sanding. Obtain maximum flexibility in board thickness and choice of glue. Dieffenbacher’s LVL technology enables board thicknesses of up to 120 mm and allows MUF adhesives to be used in the top veneer overlapping area.

The right solution for your LVL production

LVL, also known as laminated veneer lumber, is mainly used in construction. During production, several wood veneers about 3 mm thick are pressed into one board. LVL can be manufactured to any length in a continuous production process. As a low-cost building material, LVL is an ideal alternative to solid wood and is often used in the form of boards, beams, joists and supports.
