That’s how we helped Fantoni get ahead
In 2014, Fantoni decided to shut down its Plaxil 4 and 5 multi-opening plants and invest in a new continuous MDF line called Plaxil 8. The company had the unusual idea of producing three-layer MDF with two different fiber preparation lines for the surface layers and the core layer. The extraordinarily long press (65 m), the raw board handling, and the huge range of board thicknesses were further challenges for us as Fantoni’s main supplier for the non-standard project.
