Particleboard/Super PB/SSPB

The efficiency of a particleboard plant depends heavily on the flake quality and associated mechanical board properties. Optimal flake quality enables savings in raw material consumption and the amount of glue used. Our MAIER solutions for the entire process chain—from the wood yard to wet flaking and surface layer production—deliver optimal board quality at minimal operating costs.

MDF

The quality of MDF boards is defined by the selection of raw materials. When designing the wood yard, we pay particular attention to the intelligent combination of conveyors and the different loading opportunities adapted to the raw material mix, as well as to our efficient debarking and pre-cleaning systems. A MAIER drum chipper for producing wood chips of the highest quality at the lowest operating costs completes the process.

OSB/LSB

Our specialized technology uses previously unusable wood resources as the raw material for panel production. Our two-stage OSB process first produces macro chips that are then cut into high-quality OSB strands in the second stage. The OSB boards manufactured from these strands meet quality standards up to OSB-4 and have similar optical and mechanical properties to boards made from conventionally produced strands.

Waste wood

Since waste wood helps reduce wood purchasing costs and energy demand, the use of waste wood for material and energy recovery is becoming increasingly important worldwide. We offer customized single-stage and multi-stage size-reduction solutions for processing waste wood to suit your specific application, as well as state-of-the-art plant concepts that include cleaning, drying, screening, separation, burner systems and extraction technology.

Pellets

The flexible use of raw materials and cost-efficient production processes are crucial for economical pellet manufacturing. Optimal material preparation plays a key role here. Our energy- and cost-efficient machine technology ensures homogeneous reduction results and forms the basis for our customized process solutions from the wood yard to the pelletizable flake.

Dust

Wood dust produced from wood-based panel manufacturing residues offers a low-cost and carbon-neutral alternative to natural gas and heating oil.
