MAIER Knife Ring Flaker

The MAIER MRZ Knife Ring Flaker is a high-performance machine for producing high-quality flakes. It enables the production of fine-cut flakes from micro-chips or lightweight materials on both the dry and wet side.

The new MAIER Knife Ring Flaker MRZ 1500 PLUS features a compact footprint and high performance that’s due to 3D material distribution using the FlowOptimizer and an extra-wide knife ring. Its modern design features improved maintenance, adjustability and operation. Optimization of the material feed and cleaning system ensures a higher material loading volume. The modified Heavy Particle Separator enables easy and precise adjustment of separation efficiency, either mechanically or electrically. The static knife ring and the rotor, which operates according to the one-shaft principle, ensure high cutting accuracy and excellent flake quality. The main performance parameters can be monitored and recorded in real-time. Other MAIER flaker types and customized designs are available on request.

The new MAIER Knife Ring Maintenance Center enables wear-based sharpening and precise adjustment of the flaker knife rings with minimal personnel.
