Nadja applied her 10 years of experience with shredding machines at the Bielefeld site to support customers in Southeast Asia. Thanks to the Move Abroad program, she was able to combine her stay with the annual customer trip to the region.
What was the whole trip like?
Nadja: “After the two-week trip to our DIEFFENBACHER customers in Vietnam and Thailand, my four weeks in Kuala Lumpur started.”
What impressed you during your stay?
Nadja: “It was inspiring to work with the team on site on solutions and ideas, especially with how we can support and advance our customers even better in the future. It wasn’t just the work or everyday office life that impressed me. I was enchanted by Kuala Lumpur and its surroundings. The colorful culture, peaceful coexistence and fantastic food made my stay an unforgettable experience.”
Kathrin’s role in the Marketing department in Eppingen includes being the contact person for questions related to communication and marketing for the Malaysian site. During her stay in Malaysia, she got to know all her colleagues personally, experience local specialties, visit two MDF plants and take pictures and videos for internal and external communication purposes.
