Zig-Zag-Sifter

The zig-zag sifter was developed for the reliable separation of two fractions. The zigzag-shaped internals create a sifting step at each bend, where coarse material is separated from fine material. The separating air flow runs from bottom to top. Two fractions remain: Good material, which is passed upwards out of the separator into the production process, and coarse particles/impurities, which fall downwards and are discharged via an airlock.
