DIEFFENBACHER’s Forming Business Unit appoints new Head of Sales North America
Brian Goodchild takes over responsibility for sales activities in the region
On July 1, DIEFFENBACHER appointed Brian Goodchild as the new Head of Sales North America for its Forming Business Unit. Goodchild joined DIEFFENBACHER North America, Inc. in Windsor, Canada, in August 2018 as Spare Parts Coordinator. In 2025, he was promoted to Spare Parts and Service Manager.
“With his many years of experience at DIEFFENBACHER and extensive industry expertise, Brian is well known and highly respected among our partners and customers throughout North America,” explains Georg Obermaier, Head of DIEFFENBACHER’s Forming Business Unit. “As Head of Sales North America, Brian will work closely with our Sales Manager, Peter McCormack, to further strengthen our sales activities. In addition to the U.S. and Canada, he will also be responsible for Central and South America,” Obermaier adds.
“I know our customers well and am excited about the opportunity to work even more closely with them. Together with Peter, we’ll also introduce new customers to DIEFFENBACHER’s forming solutions, learn about their forming requirements and add value with industry-leading offerings,” says Goodchild. “I’ll be attending the ACCE Conference in Novi (September 9 and 10) and CAMX in Atlanta (September 21 to 24) and am eager to meet customers in person to discuss their challenges and the solutions we can offer them. It will be great to reconnect with familiar faces and build new relationships along the way.”
