New Wireless STS
The new Wireless STS is the next generation of fully automatic STS storage systems for wood-based panels. It consists of a main wagon and one or more pairs of satellite wagons that are wirelessly connected to each other. The satellite wagons can move in the storage area independently, without physical cable connections to the main wagon. The main wagon makes crosswise movements, whereas the satellite wagons move and transfer stacks lengthwise in the storage area. The new Wireless STS can handle stack weights of up to 75 t and any lengths and widths required. The main wagon can have the chain conveyor integrated into it. The supports of the storage area can be made of glulam beams.
