Low temperature dryer
The Belt Dryer works at low infeed temperatures and thus is suitable for the use of low-calorific energy coming from e.g. cogeneration or other plant components. Wet material is fed onto the lower belt of the Belt Dryer. At the end of the lower belt, the material is transported via a pulley onto a second belt above, which runs in the opposite direction. The drying air is sucked through the superimposed material layers from above while cooling. Thus the material is dried to the required final moisture content. At the end of the upper belt, the material is conveyed out of the dryer.
