Increase efficiency with reinforced thermoplastics

Increase your efficiency in the production of components made from fiber-reinforced thermoplastics. Components such as spare wheel covers, underbody shields but also battery carriers for electric mobility require additional mechanical properties. Such components can be upgraded by additional reinforcements. Reinforcements can be, for example, organic sheets, UD tape (layers) and nonwovens. A requirement for their processing is preheating before pressing. This process step is realized by a hot-air oven, which can also be used independently, for example for the production of GMT components. Increase your efficiency and produce such components within one production cell with the hybrid LFT-D/GMT line.

Operation mode of the hybrid LFT-D/GMT line

A hot air oven is fully automatically integrated into the sophisticated LFT-D production line. The production line can produce pure LFT-D parts, pure GMT/organosheet parts and of course the combination of both.
