Dryer Emission Control System
Dieffenbacher Dryer emission control systems are customized wet scrubber systems, primarily for the separation of dust. Water droplets are targeted introduced into the gas stream, where they interact with the gas and the particles it contains. The particles and soluble gas components are bound in the scrubbing liquid and reliably separated from the gas by the optimized co-current cyclone. The integrated water treatment ensures that impurities, such as wood particles, can be safely discharged from the system and disposed of.
Optionally, scrubber systems can be equipped with heat recovery units to recover thermal energy from the exhaust gas stream.
An application-specific additive dosing system can be installed to significantly increase the removal rate of water-soluble VOCs, such as formaldehyde.
