World-class OSB plant
Customer: Modern Lumber Technologies, Torzhok (Russia)
Modern Lumber Technologies (MLT) is a quite young company based in Torzhok, 230 km north of Moscow. It started in the wood-processing industry in 2005 with a wood pellets plant. From 2007 to 2010 an LVL line was built and commissioned. A huge OSB plant was added in 2014–2016.
That’s how we helped Modern Lumber Technologies get ahead
The LVL project was MLT’s first one in this business, and it taught them important lessons. MLT had many different suppliers and a lot of trouble making everything work. The only equipment that did not cause any problems was the 60-meter CPS press, the one component that they had bought from Dieffenbacher. Years later, when MLT approached the OSB project, they decided to buy everything from one source and ordered the complete plant from Dieffenbacher.
