Effective March 1, 2023, Wolfgang Lashofer was appointed as the new Managing Director of DIEFFENBACHER Energy GmbH, which was formed at the beginning of the year from the acquisition of BERTSCHenergy, based in Bludenz, Western Austria. As Managing Director of DIEFFENBACHER Energy, Wolfgang Lashofer thus also takes over the management of the newly established Energy Business Unit at DIEFFENBACHER.

Wolfgang Lashofer previously worked for the Austrian Andritz Group for more than 35 years. As Senior Vice President and Global Division Manager, his most recent responsibilities there included recovered paper treatment, fiberboard (MDF) and recycling. "The fact that we have won over such an experienced management personality as Mr. Lashofer gives DIEFFENBACHER Energy further tailwind," says DIEFFENBACHER CFO Volker Kitzelmann. "We have created the best conditions for a successful start to our youngest subsidiary," he adds.
