As a new winter semester is set to start, students at German universities can receive support through the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship. One half of the scholarship is provided by the federal government, the other half by private sponsors such as corporations. One of these is Dieffenbacher. Dieffenbacher supports scholarship holders for a period of one year or one semester. Every year, after the semester starts, the certificates for the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship are presented and, at the same time, scholarship holders and scholarship providers get to know each other. After the official part of the event, the students have the opportunity to find out about the company in a relaxed atmosphere.
In November 2018, Ines Nagel, HR Manager at Dieffenbacher, presented Benedikt Züfle with the Deutschlandstipendium certificate. Mr. Züfle is in his sixth semester of studying business administration and management at the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences.
The Deutschlandstipendium scholarship supports committed, talented and high-performing students in bachelor’s and master’s studies. Among other things, eligibility criteria such as students’ social commitment or special family and personal circumstances are also taken into account. Participation in the scholarship program offers sponsors the opportunity to benefit from good regional networking with universities and long-term recruitment of qualified specialists.
